Father’s Day is approaching rapidly. Alcan Smokehouse has set aside this Saturday, June 18th, for high-fiving the dads and grandpas in our lives. So, what does Alcan do to celebrate? Did a brunch for Mother’s Day, and everyone saw and tasted that we had a few more tricks up our sleeve than smoked meat. But a brunch does didn’t fit our vision for the dads…..so..we looked at the one thing that guys have been asking for, a steak! Succulent, meaty rib-eyes on are on the menu for Saturday night. But to make it even more special, come on down for fresh oysters. We are going to cook them in the smoker for an unbelievable taste. Add to those, a few other touches, such as a slow smoked baron of beef, served up as a beef dip in freshly baked french bread; lobster risotto, and stuffed portabello mushrooms. All of this will be on top of our regular menu, so it’s going to be a busy night for Andrea, Terrill, David and the rest of the kitchen crew, and our hard working servers. We are open from 4:00 to 11:00 on Saturday night, so there is a time open to please everyone!
